Once riders are handling the corners well and the horses are happy and not restricted because the riders have learned to follow the pattern of the walk, in their hands and in their bodies, as well as allow the outside neck to lengthen going through the corner, I ask my riders to try something different. And I ask them to trust me that this is going to work.
